We dug out the paints for this one and did a little craft we found on pinterest using footprints.
Also, did a little free style painting. He wanted to do Santa's sleigh so I found a picture online and he re-created it.
His version (red stuff on the trees and ground is the snow, since white wouldn't show up)
The elves told Dylan about the wise men and how they found Jesus.
Hi Dylan and Natalie,
I know that you have been told the story of the birth of Jesus, but we wanted to share with you a little about the wise men. A lot of times, people refer to them as the 3 kings, but the bible never says that there were 3 or that they were kings.
The wise men (or the magi) found Jesus (who was actually like 2 years old at the time) by following a "new" star.
there's are some guesses as to what this new star was....was it a supernova, a comet, a planet, 3 stars aligned together or something created by God, especially to guide the wise men.
Do you think that you could follow a star in the sky to find someone? That would be really hard. They were truly wise men. Tonight if you remember, look up in the sky and try to find the brightest star (if it's raining do it on a night when it's not raining)
