Advent Calendar : Play a Game
Instead of playing a game. We took the kids to Inside Out to play.
Batty and Peppermiz took some time to write out their Christmas cards. They are a little late. Hope they get them in the mail soon.
Inside Out is this new place and it's a really cool concept. However ,when I read about it, it seemed like it was going to be way bigger that it actually was and I thought I saw pics of swings. There were no swings.
They had a really cool tree house. On the down side, there was only one way up and one way down, the cargo ladder. I thought it should have a slide or a pole, something.
Natalie enjoyed hanging out in the grass and playing with her toys, but I don't understand why we had to pay $5 for her to sit on the ground and for me to hold her. Most places don't charge you for children under 1 with a paying child. (Notice I am doing a little review for my readers, the pros and the cons)
This is a snap shot of the place. They have play ground equipment and a little track circling the space.
Here is a shot of the track and Dylan wiping out on the Y bike. They had tons of Y bikes and tricycles for the kidlets to ride.
How cute are these restroom doors? It's like a port a potty. When you go in thought, it's a full bathroom...one stall is even equipped with a kid size john. I love it when businesses do this.
My last complaint about this place is that there is no outside food allowed. they have a coffee bar and a small deli. We ordered a sandwich, salad and a smoothie. The sandwiches and salads were pre made so I don't know why it took 20 minutes to get a smoothie made. They weren't even busy, so if you make us buy your food, be prompt about it. Thanks !
