Back At It Again

I have rescued many a lost dogs in my time.  Why, at one point, I kept 2 dogs for about a week while their owners were on vacation.  The dogs didn't have tags so it took me a while to find the owners.  After that experience, I said never will I again help a dog without some sort of tags (at least rabies tags I can work with).  However, if you know me, I can't leave a baby on the streets especially with bad weather approaching.  We saw this little guy walking around our neighborhood and I was like, nope, no tags. Fast forward a few hours and I hear Dylan "momma there's a dog out here without a home" sigh, bring him on in.  Griffin really enjoyed having a play mate for a few days, but unfortunately no owner came forward and I couldn't live a normal life with 4 dogs especially one that barks really really loud.  Thankfully, someone contacted me that fostered for a local rescue that wanted the dog.  I pray that it works out for this little guy and this owner.  From the story that I heard about him (he was microchipped and I spoke to one previous owner), he's had about 4 owners in his short 2 years of life. He's such a sweet boy and I don't know why he's been bounced around so much.  I hope this is his forever home.

Cheers Franklin,

Second Verse Same As The First

Here we are again.  Dylan woke up in the middle of the night complaining he was hot. (I assumed it was because I toted the kids downstairs and had them on the air mattress since there was a tornado warning.) However, when he woke up again and said he was hot, I felt his head and realized he had a fever.  I haven't been impressed with the pediatric office we've been going to since we moved to Cleveland, so I decided to take him into a different office (that's a further drive). I was totally impressed with the new office.  They had sick walk in hours from 8:30-9:00 and a separate entrance/waiting area for sick children.  The rooms were all decked out in different themes (we got the jungle room theme).  The doctor that we saw was very attentive, checking and rechecking symptoms.  The results came back as Strep again.  We just finished our antibiotics for strep yesterday, so apparently, that one didn't work for him.  Here's to this antibiotic working for him.

Happy 3rd Birthday Natalie

Natalie has been super excited about turning 3.  I asked her what kind of party and cake she wanted, she replied "Sulley".  It's no secret this girl is crazy about Monsters University. There for a while, we had it on in our car non stop.  She always wanted Sulley on. At Christmas, we the kids got to pick out a new ornament, Natalie picked Sulley.  She doesn't just love Sulley, she loves Mike, Squishy and "Squishy's mom"

The only problem to solve was where and who would come to this party. Since moving to Cleveland, we haven't made any really close friends with kids Natalie's age. We know a few but didn't feel comfortable inviting them.  We decided it would best to be a small gathering with those we love the most, our family and our dearest friends, the Webbs.  Natalie got her cake and her party and she was one happy girl.

She has been working on her "3" hand for some time. She still has a hard time doing it but she tries her hardest.

Valentine's Day

Dylan's valentines for his school mates this year.  Thanks to Mars, all the kids got a jumbo size bag of gummy savers.  Not to overshadow the homemade "you are dino-mite" with a mini dinosaur.

Disney Jr Live

Nana treated us to a night out to see Disney Jr live.  The first half of the show was all about princesses, mainly Sophia the First.  The second half was pirates, Jake and the Netherland Pirates.  We all enjoyed the pirate part of the show the most.  Natalie loved seeing Mickey and Minnie.  I wished there would have been a chance to meet and greet them to help prepare us for Disney.  I enjoyed being with my pirate and princess.
