During Wee Connect (our praise and worship for preschool), we have a time called Pack Your Brain. For an entire month, we learn a kids version of a bible verse. This month it has been "I am with you always" Matthew 28:20, complete with hand motions too. Today when I asked if anyone knew it and wanted to help me, Dylan's hand went up. I wondered if he actually knew it or if he was raising his hand like most kids do. I asked him to help me with it and he proceeded to say the bible verse with the book, chapter and verse. I was so proud of him, I almost cried in front of everyone.
We are working on the Lord's prayer too, he has Our Father who is in Heaven, hallowed be your name down so far :)

My First 5K
I finally signed up for my first 5k and it was the happiest one on the planet, the COLOR RUN. I was serious about getting a good time, but then I found out that it wasn't even timed. Sheesh. Oh well, I am still shooting for it. Some gals that I have met in the community did the color run too.
Becky was my running partner. We stayed pretty clean (yes this is the after pic for us). We seriously ran it and when we got to the color stations people ran to the sides to get color but we ran down the middle. Occasionally someone would run out to tag us but just got our back. We finished in 24 minutes but according to Becky's garmin, we were a half mile shy of the 5k.
We were excited to have finished it. (and glad to get warm as it was unusually cold).
Coloring Eggs
This is our first year to ever color eggs. Dylan really enjoyed it. Natalie wasn't quite sure what you were suppose to do with them.
Eek! I almost dropped it, that was close.
Dylan was proud of the egg he made. It kinda looked like what you would expect a dinosaur egg to look like.
Here are the final products. Dylan's eggs are the green speckled, and the gold and brownish looking eggs. Damien made the pink and blue egg that represented Dylan and Natalie. Natalie and I made the rest of the them :)

Science Museum
Dylan has been on Spring Break this week (even though it feels more like winter break, we even got a little snow). He asked where we were going for spring break. I informed here, no where. Although, I figured a day of fun out and about was in order. I almost took him to the space museum in Huntsville, but decided to keep it local as I had to go pick up my race packet for the color run as well.
We ended up at the Science Museum. I haven't been to this place in a while, and apparently neither had a lot of other people as it was pretty busy for a Good Friday since school was out and there were no field trips.
We had a fun morning exploring things, but I have to admit, I don't see a membership in our near future. It wasn't that good....it was basically as I remembered it as a kid myself and half the stuff was broken. Since he is 4, he didn't really notice, it was just something new and different for him and for Natalie.

Me Likes Water
To keep my eye on Griffin, while I am in the shower, I leave the door open. The open door is often an open invitation for him to join as he usually just hops right in. He loves the water. I cannot wait to take him swimming.

Bowie Park Playground
Dylan loves the park at Nana's (aka Bowie Park). It really is a great park. Trinity even tagged along for the fun.
Spring Soccer
Damien along with Mr Brandon (aka Bentley's Dad) decided to coach Dylan and Bentley's team this season. We have a great group of kids and this year is totally different from last year. We've had 2 games and Dylan scored 2 goals during the last game. I was so proud of him, I teared up. Bentley and Dylan are the 2 youngest on the team and we have really great players on the team, so I was anxious when Dylan got the ball and had a break away. I was praying that it would go in and boost his confidence and it did! Then he scored again. GO RED STORM!
Natalie's ready to get in the game too :)

Ugg Lover
I don't know what it is about my Uggs, but Griffin cannot get enough of them. I think I may have worn them when we visited with his litter, so there may be scents of his brother and sister on the. No matter where they are in the house, he will hunt them out and lay on them or beside them.

Chicken
The boys and Eliza found a new game to play...what we call chicken. Really they are seeing who can hang the longest without falling. Dylan is a champ at this game. (Probably because he weighs the least but he is one determined kid.) I was beating everyone left and right. Way to go Dylan!
