What did Dylan pick out...Rudolph. He sure is on this Rudolph kick. Of course the one we found was the last one in the store...it was the display one. I made the mistake of saying it was missing a piece, so that was a no go for purchasing it. I reassured Dylan that I would find it the following day while he was at school, and I made good on that promise.
The elves, well they have been making a little bit of a mess lately. The latest with post it notes...
Hi Dylan and Natalie,
Jesus' birthday was a big deal. Lots of people were so happy to hear of the birth of our savior. there was one person who was not happy at all., King Herod. He was a mean ole king. He heard from the wise men that Jesus had been born. He knew that he would be a king. He thought he should be the king forever so he wanted jesus dead. He tried to trick the wise men into believing that he wanted to worship Jesus, so they should tell him where he lived. The wise men, being well, wise, knew that King Herod was not telling the truth and that he wanted to hurt Jesus. When the wise men went home after visiting Jesus, they took another way home to avoid the King. the King was not happy so ordered all the boys within the town under the age of 2, to be killed. Guess what God warned Joseph and Mary before this happened and they had left town already. Jesus was saved because he served a greater purpose. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. He saved Jesus.
Love,
Batty and Peppermiz
