On Saturday, Dylan and I went to a baby shower for Heather. Heather and I have known each other for a long time, but I would say that we didn't really become good friends until high school for whatever reason. (She worked at Sonic for a little while.) This will be her second daughter. Her daughter, Mia, is 3 years old (I think) and is looking forward to having a baby sister. When I had Dylan Heather and Mia came to visit in the hopes that Mia would embrace the idea of having a brother as she only wanted a sister. Well, she got her wish. Micah, her sister, will be here any day now and the Hayes family couldn't be any happier.
Not only did Dylan and I get to spend time with Heather, but we got to see some other friends that we didn't see as often as we would like. Misty and Michelle were both friends from school as well. Misty and I have been friends since middle school, when we cheered together, and Michelle and I were friends on and off, since elementary school. (Not for any other reason than the crowds we hung out with).
Misty and I were pregnant around the same time, but she delivered a few months before me. Maggie was born on Jan 21st (hopefully that's right). Dylan and Maggie have only met once or twice before, but during this meeting, they got to play and touch each other.
