The forecast called for up to 6 inches in our area, and the weather men were about right. We ended up with 4-5 inches. This was not like our Christmas snow. It was not a mere dusting, it was thick and beautiful. The snow was easy to pack. Snowmen were a sight to be seen as you drove through the neighborhood.
When I woke Dylan up that morning, he immediately asked to go outside to play. I was so bummed as we didn't have anyone to play with really, but thankfully, some friends came over to sled down our mini hill.
However after being out about 20 minutes, Dylan was ready to go inside and was not happy about being outside any longer. I tried to explain that his friends had came over to play with him outside not inside, but he wasn't having it. I let him go in while we stayed outside. Today, I have not even pushed going outside. It's a lot of trouble to get bundled up only to go outside for 10 minutes. Especially since he won't even sled...I mean last year he couldn't get enough of sledding. This year, he won't even try it. Who knows? Kids....
