You probably think this song is about you...

Sometimes, Damien makes me laugh, without even trying. Just so you know, he doesn't say these things on purpose, it's all accidental.

A few weeks ago, we were singing in church, How Great is Our God by Chris Tomlin. The chorus goes like this: How great is our God, sing with me, How great is our God, and all will see How great, How great, Is our God. Damien's version went like this: How great is our God, sing to me...apparently he thought the whole congregation should sing to him. I couldn't help but giggle.

Then today, on our way to church, we were listening to Eric Clapton. The verse went, my darling, you look wonderful tonight. Damien's version: My darling, I look wonderful tonight.

Now by no means do I think these are selfish comments. I honestly think they were slip ups, but they sure made me laugh.

That's pretty funny! It made me think about my favorite radio station here 94.1 (www.kkpt.com) that plays good old 80s music, some 90s. Occasionally, they have a contest called "Twisted Lyrics" where they give you lyrics someone mixed up, and you give the correct lyrics. My favorite is someone's version of "Yellow Brick Road" by Elton John. They thought the chorus went something like, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road....your cat just PEED in your penthouse." I thought, "No way," and listened to it and yep, it does sound like it. Listen to it. I don't know the real lyrics, though. I always sing that part.
