I went to the Dr yesterday for my 39 week  and 4 day check up, and I am still dilated to 1cm and 50% effaced. I have been this way now for 4 weeks.  Either Dylan is super cozy or my body has no idea what to do.  She asked me if I wanted to be induced or go natural. I told her I prefer things to go on God's time unless the baby has to come out. She agreed.  If I haven't had the baby by Friday, I am going back in for an ultrasound to make sure my fluids and everything else is okay.  However, she doesn't want me going past 41 weeks as placenta starts breaking down (she didn't say that exactly, but I assuming that's the reason). So, if he isn't here by next Wednesday, that will be his birthday as they will induce me at 40 weeks and 6 days. Here's to May 14th. I still believe that God just might grant my wish, and that he will be born this Sunday on Mother's Day.
