Today, we went to visit Dr. L for Natalie's 2 week check up. As any nursing mom, you worry if you are producing enough and if your child is eating enough since you don't have any real gauge on ounces. I was pleased to find out that Natalie was not only back at her birth weight but had gained more. She weighed in at 9lbs. She also gained an inch in length. Dr. L was really happy with her progress. We don't go back until she is 2 months old (their office doesn't do 1 month visits) so in the meantime, I will probably be anxious to see if she is growing more.
Natalie is such a good baby. She's not fussy and is content laying in her "bed" until it's my bed time. Then it's like she knows that I am in my bed and wants to be right up there with me. I know co-sleeping is the norm, except in our country, but it still freaks me out. My goal is to have her in her crib by the time she is 3 months. Yes, that's my goal.
