Our July 4th was a lazy one. Since it fell in the middle of the week, there was no big cook out or a big trip. Since there has been such a horrible drought this year, there were no fireworks as they were banned. (Although some crazies did go ahead a shoot a bunch off.)
However, we did enjoy a nice dip in our neighbors pool as they were out of town. This meant not having to go to the neighborhood pool and deal with the masses. A nice, private time at the pool.
