I have really realized in the past few weeks, just how big Dylan is getting. Not only is he independent, but he's intelligent. I know all parents say that, but I truly believe it. While I was in Africa, my mom and Damien worked with Dylan hard core on his potty training. Granted, he had been peeing in the potty since about March or so, but it was not consistent by any means. Since we are always on the go, I just hadn't taken the time to focus on it. Thankfully, my parents found the right motivation, MONEY. Dylan loves getting money, even when it's two monies. They even got him a new piggy bank, and he calls it porkchop. Now we are wearing big boy undies all the time, with the exception of nap, bed time and church, but even then he's usually dry. If he wakes up in the middle of nap or night time, he will yell, I need to go pee pee. Hopefully he will learn to go on his own.
This is where the other milestone comes in. Since he was potty trained, we figured we should convert his crib until we get his big boy furniture for his new room. He loves it. We haven't had any real issues with him staying in bed, so that's been pleasant.
Where is the time going? And to think, we will have another one around the house come February!

Way to go, Dylan!!! I know you're extremely proud, Stephanie, and you have every right to be. Congratulations on your new bundle!
