Spring Program

Dylan had his spring program at school.  I love these little shows but they are so quick. I wish they were longer, but asking 2,3 or even a 4 year old to memorize more than 3 songs is a little much, I am sure.
Dylan's class wore the color blue and sang a song about it.  Me being the bad mother cannot remember the other song they sang....and well, Dylan doesn't remember it either since I just asked him.

The entire school sang "God you are my rainbow" and I still hear Dylan singing it around the house.  It's so sweet especially since he talks about God all the time.  "you know who's coming to my birthday party Joseph?"  "God" ... "do you know who the strongest person is, God" Love it!
and of course Natalie was there to listen to her big brother

March Reads

Yep, you read that right....reads.  I read more than one book this month.  Can you blame me though? It's the rest of the trilogy to the Hunger Games. I had to find out what happened. I can't wait until the rest of the books are made into a movie.  Oh, and the hunger games movie was a good one.  I was so excited to see it.  Where you one of the people that kissed their fingers and held up three fingers in salute?  Neither was I, but I just wanted to check.

Splish Splash there are 2 in the Bath

My life just got easier....or I could say our lives since Damien usually does Dylan's bath and I do Natalie's. Now, I can do both their baths at the same time.  At least for maybe 1 year until Dylan demands his own bath.  I think he enjoys playing with Natalie in the bath.  He said the other day that when he turns 4, he's not going to take a bath anymore. I said oh, you are going to take a shower. He said no, I am going to take a bath in your big tub. Yea Right!

Yea, It's March....AND?

I am a little nervous what summer is going to be like if this is the end of our winter/beginning of our spring. Yep, that's the kids next door and Dylan playing in the water with no shirts.
It's been a mild winter this year.  I actually pre bought snow suits (at consignment of course) for both Dylan and Natalie along with snow toys.  I was going to be prepared. Prepared for an early summer apparetnly...sheesh. Waste of money.

I Just Need a Push

The kids are really enjoying this mild winter. They have been able to play outside so much.  I caught a few pics from the porch when Dylan was playing with the neighbors. Here he is pushing his "girlfriend" by the way....when we ask him if girls are pretty on TV , he always says NO (they could be gorgeous) but when we ask if Eliza is pretty, he says YES.

Then I snapped a pic of Silas pushing Dylan. By far the best neighbors in the world :)
