Maybe I Was Wrong

Earlier in the week, I posted a blog titled the Three Musketeers. After going through some of the pics that I have taken recently, I came across this one and I think these are the three Musketeers.  This is Dylan and 2 of his friends that are the same age (give or take a few weeks).

Romeo oh Romeo

They are at it again.  You may remember a post from the past that captured Romeo and Juliet, although I said Eliza was Rapunzel .  Damien caputred this picture of Romeo (aka Dylan) talking to his Juliet (aka Eliza).  If they end up being "girlfriend" and "boyfriend" in a few years, I wouldn't be surprised.  Dylan already says Eliza is his girlfriend and that he loves her.

The Three Musketeers

Today, my mom brought Dylan home.  He had stayed 3 nights at their house for spring break and did lots of fun stuff with Nana, like the movies and playing at the Monkey Treehouse.  While I enjoyed the break and enjoyed being in lockdown in my bedroom (aka my office), I was really glad to see his cute face. Damien and I talked about how we missed him the night before.

Tonight, my mom is keeping my brother's baby, Trinity. Since we don't have any pictures of the kids, we took a few pictures.  I would like to add that it's really difficult for 3 kids (2 babies none the less) to give you a consistent look and cooperate.

Here's the best shot of the three musketeers (aka cousins)

this might have been a winner if it wasn't for captain lazy eyes
Then we had to deal with this...I see some mean girl action in the future...poor Natalie may be getting beat up by her cousin Trinity when she gets older. It's already started at 5 weeks old.  :)

Newborn Pictures

We had some newborn pictures taken of Natalie.  Thanks Vikki, you can check out her stuff at http://www.vikkiobrienphotography.com/

Hawk Alert

I was sitting on the couch the other day and saw something moving out of the corner of my eye.  I got up and saw a huge hawk.  Typically we have this smaller hawk that hangs out watching for critters but this one, was, in Dylan's words, hugemongus. I grabbed my zoom lense and headed outside to take some pictures of it. As soon as I started snapping, it flew away.  I continued to take pictures as it flew away.  Later on that night, I showed Damien the pictures of the hawk and I zoomed in on it....and saw a snake.  The one thing I hate the most. Did he get this in our yard? Shivers me to the bone just to think of it.  I hate snakes and with our creek in the back of our house, I know that we have some back there.

Notice the snake in each picture. At least he didn't leave it in our yard.

Natalie's First Trip to the Zoo

We had to get out of the house and with the temperature in the high 70s. I thought we'd go to the zoo.  The hardest part about going to the zoo was getting everyone out the door.  Having to feed everyone, dress everyone, shower and make lunches....it was exhausting.

But we made it there....

Watch Natalie Grow - 1 month

I bought a 12 month onesie and decided to take pictures of Natalie each month in that onesie.  I even had a friend applique and monogram a cupcake and her name on it, so that she could wear it for her actual birthday.  After putting it on her, I wonder if we are even going to make it 6 months in this onesie.  I was expecting it to hang off her.  Yeah, not so much.  We didn't go to the doctor for a one month visit so no stats to report.
At one month :

poops and pees all the time
eats like every 2 hours
sleeps in bed with me
enjoys bath time and having her hair washed

So, I guess that's about all that is going on in her world :)

Of course Dylan had to get in on the photo shoot.
